Youth mobility focusing on
environmentally friendly behavior
The project was aimed at implementing ideas related to caring for the environment
and about our planet, which were invented by Polish, Portuguese and Greek students. Project participants learned more about sustainable development and environmentally friendly habits. The project was aimed at increasing motivation to take small steps towards improving ecology and expanding awareness about climate change, ecological lifestyle, developing one's own habits and exchanging knowledge and experiences with international youth.
During the mobility, participants had the opportunity to visit organizations and companies such as:
-
Zakłady Automatyki KOMBUD SA - a company from Radom dealing with railway traffic control systems,
-

-
During the mobility, young people participated in related workshops
with the subject of zero food waste, waste segregation, the problem of environmental pollution, water retention and sewage treatment. They were also tasked with working out solutions to environmental problems. -
In order to reach as many people as possible with the acquired knowledge, the young people went to the local school in Jedlnia-Letnisko and conducted an ecological quiz in 8 grades - from kindergarten to 7th grade.
The youth stay was enriched with cultural, language and soft skills workshops.
