At the end of the day, representatives of PwC, Anna Juhanila, Hans Kluin and Maria Gabriela Vasquez Moncayo presented the company's culture and values as well as the profile of a potential candidate to the participants.

On the second day of the FEP workshops, the participants had the opportunity to take part in a lecture on the so-called BIAS – how to avoid prejudice as a leader or team member. The Polish Agency for Enterprise Development (PARP) represented by a five-person team: Kamil Gromulski, Paweł Chareb, Krzysztof Buczek, Maja Wasilewska, Izabela Banaś presented how it supports entrepreneurs and what the profile of an innovator looks like.  On the second day, the participants had the opportunity to learn practical tips related to effective  presentation in front of the audience - presented by Aleksander Dembowski and the ambassador Anna Dąbrowska. FEP 2018

DSC_0002-1407302863-1-3051241011.jpg

On April 12-15, 2018, FEP workshops were held. Sixty participants
from various high schools, technical and vocational schools, based on the acquired knowledge, presented solutions to the task presented to them by the manager
from Decathlon.

Challenge: “Submit an idea for a product that fits into Decathlon's portfolio for a mum with a child up to 4 years old. Remember that such a mother has her own needs - on the one hand, she wants to take care of her child, which has become her priority, on the other hand, she wants to take care of herself and get back in shape after pregnancy.

The jury evaluated the presentation during the Grand Finale. Apart from creativity, the main aspects that were assessed were not technological aspects of solutions, but soft skills of young people: presentation in front of an audience, communication skills, resistance to stress, time management - which, according to the research of the Education Research Institute, Warsaw School of Economics, and Ernst&Young, are the most important criterion used by companies when recruiting graduates.
